Interior Inviting. Beginning right from your doorway entrance, you want your home to
say to Potentials "Come In and Make Yourself at Home!" Entrance: Is your entrance well lit and open? Is it in an area where daytime lighting is unaccessible? Using White or Creme Tone Variations is suggested in Entrance Ways. If there's alot of lighting, a Creme Tone is efficient. IF it's a darker area, stick to whites to brighten it up. Window Lighting and Windows: It is a known fact, that the first thing that catches the eye are things that are at eye level. Well, your Windows and Window Accessories are at eye level. This fact combined with your wall color(s) and furnishings, play a key role in the enhancement of your living area. When showing your home, make sure your windows are clean and that your blinds/draperies are open for an unstuffy atmosphere. |

You! In creating a cozy atmosphere, your lighting plays a key role on how others view your home. If you're getting sunlight from the West or SouthWest, you may be getting a little too much. By placing Sheers or half curtains, you will still allow the sunlight to brighten your area and at the same time, save on your furniture. Now depending on your furnishings, brighter rooms ordinarily can withstand darker walls. If you're surroundings are more defined and contemporary, then repainting with tones like light grey, creme, or sand are clean and refreshing. If you're style is rustic and wood, then perhaps you'd like to create a Center or Main wall that is painted in a Caramel or Chocolate Brown. By placing contrasting color accessories, ie: paintings, prints, ornaments, your wall will give your room added distinction. Please remember, that when painting darker colors, your room's perception will appear smaller, so unless your area is huge, don't pick a main wall to paint a darker color, unless you want to shrink the room.
