Rag Painting Technique By using a slighltly dampened rag, apply water thinned latex paint to your rag with your paint brush. Once you have a little experience or have tried it for an hour or so, You may want to dab your rag into the paint and wipe any excess before applying it to the wall.
In a circular motion, in a radius of approximately 12", apply paint to a said area of about 3' by 3'. You'll notice your paint dries quickly, so you want to keep the motion going at a fairly fast pace. Thin your paint with a half a cup of water to half a gallon of paint. IF your paint is very thick, use 3/4's-1 cup, per half gallon.
