Easy Color Wash Faux Finish
Easy as One-Two-Three Color Washing!
   This Faux Finish, basically requires only a roller and a 3-4 inch Nylon Paint Brush
Beginners, who'd like to get the feel  of Faux Finishing and how the techniques are applied, can start with the backs of old wall panel pieces that have been lightly sanded and damp rag dusted. Seal with a flat base paint and allow to dry for at least One Hour. This will give you time to prepare your tools and mixtures for your project.
Warming Results with Color Washing
   Apply your first base coat with your roller. Allow suffient time to dry.
Prepare a darker mix of paint in the same tone. As an example with this sand color used, you may add a deep brown, rusty-brown or black to darken you next coat of paint.
For those who use Glazes, mix one part Glaze to three parts paint for a cloudy textured result.
Using your Nylon 3-4" brush, angle and procede to use a right to left jiggly motion, rotating the brush with a flick of your wrist.
