display color tone against the white of the unit. This was a perfect piece
to give a new make-over to! The results are phenominal! Give it a Try!
|
AFTER! The Wall Unit looks like a million bucks! Once completed, you may
want to add two coats of varnish. The velocity of shine is up to you and
your surroundings. Dull or Matt. Semi-Gloss or High Gloss. |

Choose Your Paint Colors and Paint Brushes
for this Project. The Bamboo can be painted any color you'd like! We've presented a palette of more common rustic tones to give you a few color ideas. We suggest using a Nylon
Brush for this project. The hairs are more durable and flexible for
toning.Do this technique on Picture Frames, T.V. Tables, Chairs, Kitchen Tables, Wall Units and anything you like! |
Using a Stain and Glaze with a 2" Nylon Brush, apply stain in long
diagonal strokes.
Using a hair cutting tool, as seen here, or a fine razored comb from the tools shop, will assist in the patient dabbing of strokes to create this effect. |
